Queen of Divorce is an upcoming K-drama starring Lee Ji-Ah and Kang Ki-Young in lead roles. The legal drama revolves around the female protagonist seeking revenge on her ex-husband while helping other spouses.

Kim Sa-Ra (Ji-Ah) was once the daughter-in-law of the Cha-Yul Law Firm, one of the biggest companies in South Korea. But her divorce left her penniless and helpless. Eventually, she starts her own firm called Solution, where she provides help to those spouses who suffer unfair divorce settlements.

Ki-Young’s character, prosecutor Dong Ki-Jun, joins forces with her to seek revenge on Sa-Ra’s ex-husband.

Queen of Divorce cast & plot

Queen of Divorce is a legal comedy-drama with two talented actors in lead roles — Lee Ji-Ah and Kang Ki-Young. They play ex-lovers who meet while trying to survive in the unfair world.

Lee Ji-Ah plays Kim Sa-Ra, who grew up watching her mother’s suffering because of her father. So she decides to marry a rich heir, Noh Yul-Sung, over Dong Ki-Jun, who is poor. The daughter-in-law of the Cha-Yul Law Firm becomes penniless because of her husband’s schemes. He even throws her into prison without the custody of her child. When she comes out, she decides to seek revenge on her ex-husband.

Kang Ki-Young essays the role of Dong Ki-Jun, a prosecutor. He is the ex-lover of Kim Sa-Ra. They reunite after eight years and decide to join forces to open a divorce settlement firm called Solution. He is a lawyer who becomes Sa-Ra’s business partner to help those who suffer unfair divorce settlements.

Oh Min-Suk will play Sa-Ra’s ex-husband Noh Yul-Sung’s role. He is the successor of the Cha-Yul Law Firm. The remaining cast members include Kim Sun-Young, Lee Tae-Gu, Seo Hye-Won, Kim Si-Hyun, Na Young-Hee, Kang Ae-Shim, Jung Min-Joon, and Lee Seo-An.

The story begins with Sa-Ra and Ki-Jun meeting after eight years. They run the divorce consultancy firm Solution together. In the trailer, the two characters seem to be chaotic as they decide to seek revenge on Yul-Sung. The video shows them going to lengths to help their clients find justice in their divorce settlements. Several comedic moments in the trailer make the storyline more interesting.
