A Shop For Killers stars Lee Dong-Wook and Kim Hye-Jun in lead roles. This drama is based on a novel written by Kang Ji-Young and can be considered a spin-off of the popular series The Killer’s Shopping List. The series focuses on Ji-Ah’s exploration of her uncle Jung Jin-Man’s profession and the exact cause of his death. Viewers will have to wait and see how her journey unfolds and what truths she discovers.

A Shop For Killers: Lee Dong-Wook, Kim Hye-Jun play pivotal roles

The story of this upcoming Disney Plus action K-drama revolves around Ji-Ah (Kim Hye-Jun), a young college student whose life turns upside down after she hears about her uncle Jung Jin-Man’s death. Orphaned at a young age, Ji-Ah takes shelter with her uncle. Initially, her uncle’s death is ruled out as a “suicide.” But Ji-Ah grows suspicious of the same, given her belief that Jin-Man would never take such an extreme step.

Chaos ensues after Ji-Ah is left to take care of her uncle’s dangerous inheritance, a shopping mall. Eventually, she receives unknown death threats and doesn’t have enough time to think before people start attacking her. While it is still unclear what Jin-Man’s legacy is within the shop, the recently released trailer points it out to be a place that sells dangerous weapons.

As she comprehends the environment around her, Ji-Ah faces attacks from both people and their weapons. Gunfire, drones, and skilled assassins target her. But Ji-An reflects on the training Jin-Man gave her while growing up. Ji-An accumulates both his insightful knowledge and his training capabilities to fight the gangsters and protect her uncle’s legacy.

A Shop For Killers also features other supporting characters to aid Ji-An’s journey, as per Ten Asia’s report. Geum Hae-Na plays Min-Hye, a suspicious person who presents herself in Ji-An’s life. Min-Hye is exceptional in her use of firearms and other kinds of weapons. Meanwhile, Park Ji-Bin plays Bae Jung-Min, Ji-An’s classmate, who helps her uncover the truth about the shopping mall. His intelligence and hacking abilities will prove to be essential to Ji-An in her journey. The drama also stars Lee Tae-Young, Seo Hyun-Woo, and Jo Han-Sun.

Kim Min will play Ji-An’s Mua Thai teacher Pasin. He is one of Jin-Man’s closest acquaintances and has sufficient knowledge about the shopping mall and its activities. Only time will tell what role he plays in Ji-An’s life. To survive, Ji-An will employ all the skills taught by her uncle to battle for survival and protect the mall. She will think like her uncle, all credit to his training, to understand the attackers’ psyche before plotting her own plans.
