My Happy Ending is a new mystery thriller K-drama, that will debut on TV Chosun on Saturday, December 30, 2023. The upcoming series stars popular South Korean actress Jang Na-Ra in the main role of Seo Jae-Won. Actor Son Ho-Jun will also star as one of the most significant characters, Heo Soon-young, who is Seo Jae-Won’s husband.
Jo Soo-Won and Kim Sang-Hoon have acted as directors of the new series. TV Chosun has recently dropped a few posters for My Happy Ending this Friday, December 29, 2023. The newly released posters hint at an upcoming misfortune in the prime character, Seo Jae-Won’s life. The poster also teases the K-drama as a psychological thriller.

The highly intriguing new posters for TV Chosun’s My Happy Ending have also revealed the exact premiere date of the upcoming thriller K-drama series. It will arrive on Saturday, December 30, 2023, on TV Chosun. The air time of the series is 9.10 p.m. KST. The Korean drama series will air on the network every weekend. It will also be available for streaming on Viu and Viki in selected regions.
My Happy Ending will chronicle the tragic story of a woman named Seo Jae-Won who chases after success. She has gone through an unfortunate childhood and will try to escape from her deep and dangerous obsessions and desires.
The official synopsis for the K-drama series, given by Viki, reads, “To everyone around her, Seo Jae Won seems to be blessed with the perfect life, both personally and professionally. Professionally, Jae Won is not only the CEO of a multi-million dollar furniture company but is a wildly popular social media influencer as well. Equally successful in her personal life, Jae Won is happily married to warm-hearted Heo Soon Young, a freelance designer, professor of industrial design, and the proud father of their only child.”
It further reads, “Successful and surrounded by those she loves, Jae Won couldn’t be happier. But things in Jae Won’s life start to take an uncomfortable turn after she reconnects with an old university classmate, Kwon Yoo Jin.”
