Night Has Come Episode 8: The doctor in the ‘Mafia’ game is killed

Night Has Come episode 8 opens right where the previous episode ends. Cha Yoo Joon lies on the floor in utter pain from the heavy beating. He has lost a lot of blood and ultimately succumbs to his unfortunate demise. An announcement from the “mafia” game reveals the news of his death in the morning. The announcement also discloses that he was the doctor in the game who saved Joon-Hee’s life in the seventh episode.

The remaining students mourn Yoo Joon’s death. Yoon-Seo inspects the crime scene thoroughly and ends up getting clues regarding who the killer is. She finds a few bloody footprints on the floor of the crime scene, along with a part of the culprit’s shoe. She brings these things in front of other students, and they begin to suspect both Kim Jin Ha and Gyeong-Joon.

When the clues match them, all the remaining students realize that they are the ones who have killed Yoo Joon. At that moment, it becomes quite clear that students will now execute one of them at night as the mafia in the game. Both of them try to convince the others that they are civilians. However, nobody believes them after witnessing what they have done.

Joon-Hee and the other students decide to take their mobile phones back and return them just before midnight so that they can vote. They are also kept in two different rooms. The other students hold a meeting where they decide to vote for Kim Jin Ha as they have also found a red marker beside him. Someone earlier used it to write on the wall, saying Joon-Hee and Da Beom are the mafias. However, later on, the episode reveals that Gyeong-Joon has written it.

However, it is too late, and Kim Jin Ha gets the most votes. Thus, the “mafia” game executes him. Meanwhile, Da Beom takes revenge on Gyeong-Joon for bullying him all this time. He locks him in a room to torture him. He asks him how it feels to be bullied by a weak person. Gyeong-Joon gets worked up by his words and begins to attack him.

However, soon the night alarm of the “mafia” game goes off, and Gyeong-Joon falls on the floor. Da Beom puts his headphones on his ears and hovers over his body to tell him that the mafias have decided on a target and everyone is coming. The Night Has Come episode ends right there.
