Starring Kim Young-Dae and Pyo Ye-Jin, Moon in the Day episode 8 aired on Thursday on ENA. Kang Young-Hwa agrees to help Do Ha in finding out why he died 1,500 years ago.
In episode 1, viewers saw Do Ha possessing Jun-Oh’s dead body and since then tried to kill Young-Hwa. The flashbacks from the Silla dynasty showed Do Ha’s wife Ha Ri-Ta killing him and that Young-Hwa is her reincarnation in the present time.
After having dreams about her past life, Young-Hwa found out that Do Ha is a spirit. In episode 8, the two share some heart-fluttering moments. She is determined to help him and tries to continue dreaming in order to find out about his death. But her efforts go in vain.
Moon in the Day Episode 8 ending: Chul-Hwan manipulates Min-O against Do Ha
Moon in the Day episode 8 showed a different side of Do Ha (Kim Young-Dae). Initially, his only goal was to kill Young-Hwa but the latest episode teases a spark between the two.
Since Do Ha learned about Goo Tae-Joo’s (Kim Jung-Hun) death, he has a bad feeling that Young-Hwa’s life is in danger. He is right, indeed! His father Soribu has possessed Chul-Hwan and plans to kill Young-Hwa. In the past life, Soribu (Lee Kyoung-Young) made Do Ha and Ri-Ta suffer a lot and he returns to the present time to repeat their fate.
Therefore, Soribu as Chul-Hwan (Jung Woong-In) kills Tae-Joo and reveals Do Ha’s secret to Jun-Oh’s brother Han Min-O (On Joo-Wan). The latter initially was reluctant to believe him but his younger brother’s strange behavior made him believe Chul-Hwan. Min-O thinks Do Ha murdered Tae-Joo. Towards the end of Moon in the Day episode 8, Chul-Hwan tells Min-O that the latter can save Jun-Oh and get rid of Do Ha’s spirit by killing Young-Hwa.
The K-drama‘s episode also shows Do Ha in the past and present time where he appears to slowly fall for Ri-Ta and her reincarnation Young-Hwa. In the modern day, he pledges to protect Young-Hwa and not let anyone else kill her as someone did in the past life. This may leave viewers curious about Pyo Ye-Jin’s character’s storyline.
