Castaway Diva Episode 7 Trailer Teases Park Eun-Bin, Kim Hyo-Jin’s Big Reveal

The Castaway Diva Episode 7 trailer, starring Park Eun-Bin, has been released. The K-drama is about an aspiring singer who was stranded on an island for 15 years. After she was rescued and brought back to civilization, she met her idol.

Eun-Bin’s Seo Mok-Ha became her idol singer Yoon Ran-Joo’s (Kim Hyo-Jin) voice after the latter couldn’t sing on stage. In episode 6, they had the same plan but YGN producer Kang Bo-Geol (Chae Jong-Hyeop) told them to come out clean to Ran-Joo’s fans.

Castaway Diva Episode 7 release date, plot & more

Castaway Diva Episode 7 will air on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at 9.20 p.m. on tvN. It will also stream on Netflix and Viki.

Episode 6 ended with Bo-Geol (Chae Jong-Hyeop) asking Ran-Joo (Kim Hyo-Jin) to reveal her secret to her fans. Until now, she lip-synced to Mok-Ha’s (Park Eun-Bin) voice and tried to regain her lost fame and respect.

In the trailer for episode 7, Mok-Ha asks Ran-Joo what they should do. For context, video producer Bo-Geol’s YGN agency is conducting a singing competition between Ran-Joo and new-age singer Eun Mo-Rae (Bae Gang-Hee). The latter is anxious because Ran-Joo always made her feel like Mok-Ha’s substitute.

Bo-Geol wants Mok-Ha to shine and hence grabs this opportunity, convincing her and Ran-Joo to reveal the truth. The trailer shows Mok-Ha getting ready for her first live performance, while Mo-Rae’s manager is unhappy with Bo-Geol.

Mok-Ha seems upset as she states that she doesn’t want to steal Ran-Joo’s stage. In response, the singer says, “Today is your stage, not mine.” The video further adds a flashback scene when Ki-Ho shot Mok-Ha’s first audition video. The ending of the trailer gives the same vibe when Mok-Ha is ready to go on stage and Bo-Geol says, “Action.”

Viewers can catch episode 7 on Saturday and episode 8 on Sunday on Netflix and tvN. Meanwhile, Castaway Diva’s previous episodes are available on Netflix and Viki.
