In 2023, the streaming platform released some of the best K-dramas, including the latest The Worst of Evil. This Ji Chang-Wook-starrer, which recently ended, has the highest IMDb ratings this year. The Worst of Evil is one of the 2023’s most-watched K-dramas on Disney Plus. The story centers around a couple who are detectives and get involved in the same case. While the husband disguises himself as a drug lord’s driver, the wife turns out to be the criminal’s first love. The drama is nerve-wracking and emotional.
The star cast includes Ji Chang-Wook as Park Joon-Mo, Wi Ha-Joon as Jung Ki-Chul, and Im Se-Mi as Yoo Eui-Jung. The crime thriller consists of 12 episodes.
Moving
Moving is a story of three teenagers who inherit extraordinary superpowers. Kim Bong-Seok can fly, Jang Hee-Soo can recover quickly, and Lee Gang-Hoon has speed and strength. With great power comes responsibility, so their parents fight to keep their kids safe and their secrets hidden from the outer world.
The Korean drama premiered in August and consisted of 20 episodes. The lead cast includes Lee Jung-Ha, Go Youn-Jung, Kim Do-Hoon, Ryoo Seung-Ryong, Han Hyo-Joo, Zo In-Sung, Cha Tae-Hyun, and Ryoo Seung-Bum.
Dr. Romantic season 3
Dr. Romantic is one of the highly anticipated K-drama franchises. Season 3 premiered this year in April and instantly became a hit. The plot revolves around Doldham Hospital doctors’ personal and professional lives. From keeping the hospital afloat to taking challenging medical cases and handling their complicated lives, Dr. Romantic season 3 consisted of many brief storylines.

The K-drama tells the story of revengeful Shim Woo-Joo and a lonely workaholic Han Dong-Jin. The mistress of Woo-Joo’s late father kicks her out of her house after his demise. The female lead then decides to take revenge, targeting the mistress’ son, Dong-Jin. Eventually, she falls in love with him.
Consisting of 16 episodes, the romance drama stars Kim Young-Kwang, Lee Sung-Kyung, Ahn Hee-Yeon, Nam Gi-Ae, Choi Jung-Woo, and Sung Joon.
Shadow Detective season 2
Shadow Detective Season 2 is one of the best thriller crime K-drama on Disney Plus. Released in July 2023, the series revolves around veteran detective Kim Taek-Rok, who has quietly returned to the Geumo Police Station. He keeps a low profile while working at the Women and Juvenile Affairs. As the political situation turns nasty at Geumo, the detective plans his final counterattack to catch his blackmailer called “Friend.”
The eight-episode drama stars Lee Sung-Min, Kyung Soo-Jin, Lee Hak-Joo, Kim Shin-Rok, Jung Hae-Kyun, Kim Min-Jae, Ko Kyu-Pil, Joo Jin-Mo, and Choi Byung-Mo.
