tvN released an exclusive trailer of the premiere episode of Castaway Diva on October 20, 2023. The K-drama is all set to be released on Saturday, October 28, 2023, and features Park Eun-Bin in the lead role as Seo Mok-Ha. The series follows her journey as an aspiring singer, who gets stranded on an island during her trip to Seoul for an audition.
Episode 1 trailer gave viewers a sneak peek of Seo Mok-Ha’s past. It documented her as a passionate and ambitious high-school singer, chirpy and fun-loving. However, due to an unfortunate turn of events, she gets stranded on a deserted island. The trailer showcases what happened that led her life to turn completely upside down.

Castaway Diva showcases Park Eun-Bin’s rough twist of fate
The trailer for Episode 1 of Castaway Diva documented Seo Mok-Ha’s life as a high school student, passionate about singing and performing on stage. The teaser begins with a grown-up Seo Mok-ha on the island reflecting on her life 15 years ago. The sneak peek cuts to her school life, where she talks about proceeding further in her singing career when her best friend snatches her phone away from her.
They both spend quality time together when her friend feels that Mok-Ha lives without any fears or worries. He is seen accompanying her to the beach, supporting her singing and even recording videos of her for auditions. However, the subsequent events in the trailer indicate at an impending problem that will land Mok-Ha on the island.
Mok-Ha is beaten up in a raw fish restaurant, and in the background, she is seen telling her best friend that she isn’t running away from her house. These little but swift moments in the trailer might presumably indicate trouble at home or possibly her family not supporting her singing career.
In the next few scenes, her best friend is seen fighting an elderly man and encouraging Mok-Ha to not give up even if she’s scared but just come to him. The scene shifts to her on the edge of a ship, about to jump, her best friend screaming, and eventually, Mok-Ha running away from someone on the island. In the end, she says, “The dream that I had 15 years ago, can I start that again?”
