From its trailer release to its iconic cast, it has been one of the highly anticipated films for an OTT premiere. Finally, on April 25, 2024, one of the streaming giants announced the OTT release date of Laapataa Ladies.

Netflix has officially announced the release date for Laapataa Ladies. In an exciting reveal made on Thursday, eager fans were informed via an Instagram post by Netflix India. The post unveiled the official poster featuring the ensemble cast, including Nitanshi Goel, Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Shrivastava, and Ravi Kishan, building up anticipation for the OTT premiere.

The post announced that Laapataa Ladies will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix from April 26, 2024, at midnight. The caption accompanying the poster, tagged with the cast and crew, exclaimed, “TAAZA KHABAR: Laapataa Ladies mil chuki hai! (Breaking News: Laapataa Ladies have been found!) #LaapataaLadies, starts streaming at midnight, on Netflix!”

Laapataa Ladies weaves a heartwarming tale set against the backdrop of rural India in 2001. The plot revolves around two brides who unexpectedly separated while travelling on a train.

As the story unfolds, viewers are taken on a rollercoaster ride, following the quest to reunite the lost bride with her groom and the unexpected journey of the bride who lands in the wrong village. Amidst the chaos, a comedic yet moving exploration of self-discovery ensues. All in all, the film promises viewers laughter and drama with a side of socio-cultural commentary.

The film boasts a stellar cast, blending fresh talents with seasoned performers. Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Shrivastav, Nitanshi Goel, and Chhaya Kadam deliver captivating performances. Furthermore, the seasoned actor Ravi Kishan adds a touch of humor to the ensemble.
