Do Patti is a mystery thriller featuring Sanon and Kajol in lead roles. In a recent interview, Kriti revealed why she chose to produce Do Patti. The actress provided insights into her creative journey, shedding light on her desire to back content that resonates with her on a deeper level.

In an exclusive Pinkvilla Masterclass with Himesh Mankad, Kriti Sanon unveiled the deeply personal motivation behind her decision to step into the shoes of a producer.
“It was in my head at some point, that I would want to produce,” Sanon revealed during the conversation. “I would also want to back the content that I love. And, I’m also a creative person. I’ve always been excited about the entire script; Everything that’s happening in the scene and not just my part.”
The actress further elaborated on the scarcity of good scripts after Mimi. This made her seek out avenues for creative expression. It was during this search that she crossed paths with Kanika Dhillon, whose distinct style immediately impressed her. Dhillon is also the co-producer for Do Patti. Kriti Reveals how she immediately agreed to producing Do Patti when Dhillon offered her.
Supporting her previous statement, she further added, “This is the first film that I have been involved in, from the germ of the idea, turning into a story, turning into a first draft and turning into many drafts, seeing it come on screen, come alive with actors, working on the music with music composers; It has been very satisfying for me. I think it’s more for my creative satisfaction as a producer.”
Do Patti marks as a milestone in Sanon’s career as it is her debut as a producer as well. Fans are eagerly anticipating more news on the mystery thriller.
