Actress Rashmika Mandanna has several movies in the pipeline. Apart from Pushpa 2: The Rule, the actress will also be seen in the upcoming movie The Girlfriend. While many details about the film are under wraps, it has been confirmed that Rahul Ravindran is the director. Rashmika Mandanna to play a college student in The Girlfriend?
The Girlfriend makers recently released two posters featuring Rashmika Mandanna. In the first poster, the actress could be seen wearing Indian attire and sitting in what seems to be a library. She could be seen gazing in the front with a smile. In the second poster, the actress could be seen carrying a bag while wearing an ethnic ensemble. As a result, it could be expected that Rashmika will play the role of a college student in the movie.

Moreover, Rashmika reacted to the new posters via X (formerly Twitter). In the tweet, she wrote, “thankyou so so sooooo muchhhhh! can’t wait to start showing the world the lil snippets of the girlfriend.”

On the work front, Rashmika will be next seen reprising the role of Srivalli in the upcoming movie Pushpa 2: The Rule. The movie follows the story of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa Raj, who successfully became a red sandalwood smuggler in the first part.
