Tillu Square Box Office Collection Day 4: Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s Movie Witnesses Major Dip on First Monday

After several delays, Tillu Square finally made its way to the theatres. The Telugu romantic crime comedy is entertaining audiences in India and overseas. Despite the mixed reviews, the movie was thriving at the box office till its first weekend. However, the crime rom-com faced its first dip on Monday. It appears that the film’s earnings dropped on Day 4.

Siddhu Jonnalagadda reprised his role as DJ Tillu in Tillu Square. The sequel continues with more thrilling adventures added to Tillu’s story. Although his romantic life has not been going well, several twists in the plot further add to the intrigue. Anupama Parameswaran played Tillu’s love interest, Lily, while Neha Shetty of DJ Tillu fame made a memorable cameo.

How much has Tillu Square earned so far?

Tillu Square reached a tremendous milestone in the first three days of its release. The film surpassed the $6 million milestone at its worldwide box office. However, the movie saw a significant dip in its collection as it reached its first Monday. According to Sacnilk.com, the movie earned $749.2k net in India on Day 4.

Nevertheless, according to a social media post by director Mallik Ram, the film’s earnings have reached a whopping $9.35 million gross after Day 4.

Moreover, Tillu Square has become a sensation in the North American market. As per production house Sithara Entertainments, the film has finally hit the $2 million mark in the continent. Having surpassed a new milestone, Tillu Square is expected to attain greater heights and prevail at the box office.

However, the Siddhu Jonnalagadda-starrer will soon face competition from the upcoming Telugu family romcom Family Star. The film stars Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles. In short, the box office clash between the two movies is evident. The question that remains is whether Tillu Square will continue to thrive as a blockbuster.
