Amazon Prime Video announced the highly-anticipated fifth installment of the Akshay Kumar-starrer franchise Housefull. Tarun Mansukhani is directing Housefull 5, and Sajid Nadiadwala is writing and producing it under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. It also stars Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde, John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Nora Fatehi, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nana Patekar, and Jackie Shroff, among others.

Housefull 5 to release on June 6, 2025
On March 19, 2024, Amazon Prime Video dropped the official poster and announced the release date for Housefull 5. The movie will now release on June 6, 2025. They captioned the post with, “Introducing Housefull 5 with five times the laughter, madness, and confusion. #Housefull5 available post-theatrical release.”
Housefull 5 promises 5 times the laughter, 5 times the madness, and 5 times more confusion. The franchise has been loved by fans since its commencement due to its light-hearted entertainment. Its success has solidified its place in Bollywood as a beloved comedy series.
Earlier, the movie had been scheduled for release around Diwali 2024. Sajid Khan directed Housefull 1 (2010) and Housefull 2 (2012), while Sajid-Farhad helmed Housefull 3 (2016). Meanwhile, Farhad Samji directed the fourth installment, released in 2019.
Post the release of the Housefull 5, the movie will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video. Along with this, movies like Stree 2, Don 3, Singham Again, Bad Newz, Yodha, Ikkis, Chandu Champion, and many more will also be available to stream on the platform after their theatrical release.
Earlier, in an official statement, the makers shared, “The Houseful! franchise owes its massive success to the audiences, and we hope for a similar reception for Houseful! 5. The team has crafted an absolutely mind-blowing story that demands top-notch VFX. Therefore, we’ve made the decision to push the release to ensure we deliver five times the entertainment with great cinematic experience.”
