The March 28, 2024, release of the upcoming survival-thriller Aadujeevitham, aka The Goat Life, has been highly anticipated. The makers recently released a trailer that promises an immersive cinematic experience. While fans eagerly anticipate the theatrical release, recent reports have revealed that a prominent OTT platform has secured the film’s digital rights.
Directed by National Award-winner Blessy, Aadujeevitham is based on Benyamin’s 2008 novel of the same name. This Malayalam best-seller has been translated into 12 languages. According to abpLIVE, Aadujeevitham is a true story based on the life of Najeeb, a Malyali migrant worker. He was forced into servitude as a goatherd in Saudi Arabia. Later, he finds himself trapped in a desperate situation.
When will Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Aadujeevitham be released on OTT?
As anticipation builds for the film’s OTT release, 123telugu confirmed that Disney Plus Hotstar acquired the movie’s post-theatrical streaming rights at a decent price. However, the source didn’t confirm any tentative date for its OTT release. Thus, the audience must wait till further announcement. Additionally, it has been confirmed that Mythri Movie Makers will release the film in its Telugu version.
Aside from Prithviraj, the film features Jimmy Jean-Louis, Amala Paul, Rik Aby, and others in significant roles.
While sharing his experience working in The Goat Life, lead actor Prithviraj Sukumaran said, “It’s been a long journey and not an easy one; after a decade-long wait, the audience gets to watch the fruit of our hard work and turmoil. From Covid days to today, The Goat Life has been an unexpected and unforgettable journey.”
He continued, “It has been an honor to be a part of Blessy sir’s vision and watch a maestro like AR Rahman bring music to life. The Goat Life is more than just a movie for us, it’s a story that has touched our hearts and will stay with us forever. We hope the audience feels the same.”
Thus, it will be intriguing to see how the audience will react after witnessing its first show.
