Operation Valentine First Review: Viewers Call Varun Tej’s Movie ‘Most Authentic’

The clock is ticking for Varun Tej’s aerial action film Operation Valentine. The movie is among the rare Indian productions that narrate the lives of Indian Air Force officers. The film has a massive buzz as it marks Tej’s debut in Hindi cinema. It also stars actress and former Miss World Manushi Chhillar, who plays the key role of a radar controller. Amid the discussions around the movie, its first reviews are out.

Operation Valentine has already begun receiving praise ahead of its release. During the film’s pre-release event, megastar Chiranjeevi lauded director Shakti Pratap Singh Hada for his thorough research about the film. Moreover, he advocated for the film and said such movies should do well at the box office.

Operation Valentine is based on the true story of India’s first airstrike. On February 14, 2019, 40 CRPF personnel were killed in a terrorist attack in Pulwama. India soon retaliated with an airstrike known as the Balakot airstrike. The movie focuses on the emotions of Air Force officers and how they deal with their day-to-day lives.

Operation Valentine’s first review seems promising

The first review of Operation Valentine is out now. Film trade analyst Sumit Kadel recently revealed that the movie has received positive reviews. He wrote to his X handle, “Rave reviews pouring in! According to 123telugu.com, several people shared their reviews of Operation Valentine following a few screenings in Hyderabad. Allegedly, viewers are lauding the movie as a solid action drama. One aspect of the film caught the most attention: its background score. Mickey J Meyers has seemingly created magic with the movie BGM.

Operation Valentine will hit the theaters on March 1.
