Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 Satellite Rights Confirmed, Claim Reports

Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 has generated a huge buzz among the audience. The first part of the Pushpa franchise became the blockbuster hit of 2021. Now, fans are eagerly waiting for the upcoming installment, Pushpa 2: The Rule. Amidst this, recent sources confirmed that the movie’s satellite rights are bagged by the television channel Star Maa.

For those unaware, Pushpa 2 is scheduled to hit the theaters on August 15, 2024, coinciding with India’s Independence Day. Recently, the makers have re-confirmed the release date through its X (formerly Twitter) account. On January 29, Sukumar Writing wrote, “200 DAYS for Pushpa Raj to begin his RULE. Pushpa2TheRule Grand Release Worldwide on 15th AUG 2024”.

Moreover, a leaked photo was circulated on the internet from the set of Pushpa 2. The photo features the icon star Allu Arjun, outfitted in a saree. However, filmmakers felt dissatisfied after the photo was leaked. Additionally, the leaked picture reminds the glimpse of the first poster in which Allu Arjun dressed as a woman, as he is said to be taking part in Gangamma Thalli Jathara. It is a ritual practiced in Tirupati where men dress up as women and emerge as Gangamma.

Pushpa 2: Who will claim satellite right?

While the leaked photo heightens the excitement among the audience, amidst this, recent sources confirmed that makers have locked the satellite deal with the popular television channel Star Maa. However, it is essential to note that there is no official announcement made by the makers yet.

Besides this, as per reports, the expected budget of Pushpa 2 is around $84.3 million. Earlier, the budget was around $42.1 million. However, the movie is still under development, and producers have not officially disclosed the budget.

Overall, the film is just a few months away from its release, and fans are excited to explore the rest of the journey of Pushpa. However, it will be intriguing to see when the makers will confirm the digital rights.
