This revelation positions the film leagues ahead of budgetary benchmarks set by hits like Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and RRR. The former film was made with a budget of around $30 million, while the latter was produced at approximately $66 million.
According to Twitter sources, the film production has already started. It revealed, “Director #SSRajamouli has begun Pre Production works for #SSMB29. The film will be shot on a massive set built in Hyderabad and apart from this several national and international locations has been finalised for filming Key action sequences.”
Additionally, Pinkvilla’s earlier report offered a glimpse into the thematic landscape of Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli’s SSMB 29. Set against the backdrop of an African jungle, the film promises an adventurous extravaganza. Moreover, what sets this project apart is the collaboration with international studios. The report also indicates there will be a fusion of Indian storytelling with cutting-edge global technologies.
Adding to the excitement, the ambitious project is speculated to be released as a two-part franchise over four years. However, official confirmation on this aspect is still pending.
