There is a massive buzz among movie buffs around Prabhas’ heavy budget film Salaar. The movie is among the most awaited flicks of the year, and in a few days, viewers will witness the actor’s magic on screen. Apart from Prabhas, the film also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Haasan in key roles. While very little is known about Haasan’s character, the Baahubali star recently teased some drama between them in the film.
Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and director Prashanth Neel recently sat down with SS Rajamouli to talk about the upcoming movie. During the conversation, the director talked about how much drama there is in the film. He revealed that he failed to show drama in the trailer but ensured that the film would be an emotional one for the viewers.
Prabhas then intervened to talk about the movie and teased that his character would have some chemistry and drama with Shruti Haasan’s Aadya. He said, “I feel Prashanth sir did extraordinary drama, especially with me and Prithvi sir. The whole story is between us. And, there is a beautiful drama between me and the mother and Shruti Haasan. So, I think he is very good at drama, even in KGF. But this whole film is based on drama.” For the unversed, Easwari Rao is playing the character of Prabhas’ mother in Salaar.
Shruti Haasan’s role in Salaar
Shruti Haasan will play the role of Aadya in the upcoming film. However, further details about her character are kept under wraps. There was barely a scene featuring the actress in the film’s official trailer. But, she did have an extended appearance in the film’s second clip. After listening to Salaar’s stories, she could be heard humorously saying, “Wait, wait, wait… I need a drink, do you have any alcohol.”
