Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire has created a stir among fans ahead of its release. Ever since the film’s trailer was unveiled, the anticipation among the audience has skyrocketed. They are eager to learn what director Prashanth Neel has to offer with this well-crafted film. However, by the end of the first part, viewers’ curiosity might increase as the movie will allegedly end with a cliffhanger.
Prabhas’ fans are no strangers to cliffhanger endings. They had to wait for years to learn why Katappa killed Baahubali in the SS Rajamouli’s film franchise. A new report suggests that Salaar is likely to have a Baahubali-like ending.
Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire to have an open ending?
It seems that Prashanth Neel is aiming to set a trend like the one Rajamouli set at the end of Baahubali: The Beginning. Till the second movie came out, every viewer had one question in mind – “Why did Katappa kill Baahubali?”
As per Pinkvilla, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire will also have an open ending. The story will be further explained in the next part of the saga. The report also claimed that the film’s first half is fast-paced, and the second half has all the action and drama.
Well, Katappa was Amarendra Baahubali’s most trusted soldier and mentor. Yet, Katappa killed him by the end of the 2015 film. Salaar is a story about two friends who are ready to fight the world for each other. Will there be an upsetting end to that friendship in the first installment?
Prashanth Neel has kept the plot under wraps, but he did spill some beans. In an interview with the same publication, the director said, “Salaar is a story of two friends, who become the biggest enemies. Friendship is the core emotion of Salaar. We are telling half the story in Salaar: Part One: Cease Fire. We are going to show this journey of friends over the course of two films.”
