Salman Khan’s Tiger 3, is facing potential bans in Middle Eastern countries, specifically Oman and Qatar, according to recent reports. Fans across the globe are eagerly awaiting for the spy-thriller, set to release on Diwali, November 12. However, these expectations have been dampened as news suggesting a ban in certain territories circulates.

The ban is reportedly based on concerns raised by authorities about the portrayal of Muslim characters in the film. Apparently, they expressed reservations about certain aspects of its content. While it has not been officially confirmed that the movie has been banned, these reports have disappointed fans in the mentioned countries.

However, contrary to initial rumors, sources indicate that the authorities in Oman and Qatar have not taken a final decision on the ban. Talks are ongoing, and Tiger 3 still has the possibility to be released in these countries. That is only if both parties reach an agreement. The reservations stem from apprehensions about the film’s depiction of the India-Pakistan angle. Another reason is also regarding the portrayal of the protagonist, Tiger, taking on terrorists.

A source close to the matter stated, “They (sic) are apprehensions about the India-Pakistan angle and the way Tiger takes on the terrorists. The Oman and Qatar authorities fear that the mood is such that one never knows how one might react to the content of the film. Hence, they are in two minds. The final decision will be taken hopefully today, after which Tiger 3 can be released successfully in these countries.”

As the release date approaches, fans are anxiously awaiting updates on whether the potential bans will be imposed or not. Fans can’t wait to experience Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s on-screen magic in Tiger 3. The film is set to release in overseas territories on Saturday, November 11. The international release is a day ahead of its India release on November 12.
