Salaar’s New Poster Unveils Prithviraj Sukumaran’s First Look

Hombale Films, the production company behind Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire, recently unveiled a striking new poster of the film. Interestingly, the release also coincided with the celebration of Prithviraj Sukumaran’s 41st birthday. This poster reveal has set the stage for an extraordinary cinematic experience, piquing fans’ curiosity.

Salaar is directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur. The film has a star-studded cast, including the likes of Prabhas, Shruti Haasan, Easwari Rao, Jagapathi Babu, and Sriya Reddy. Fans are eagerly awaiting for the film’s release, which is now slated to release on December 22 of this year; after being postponed from its original date of September 28, 2023 due to unforeseen circumstances.

Salaar poster reveals Prithviraj Sukumaran’s new look on his birthday

The poster shows Prithviraj as a man of powerful stature. Dressed in a dark attire with a shawl draped around his neck, and a black tika on his forehead, the actor exudes an air of mystery and intensity. The addition of a nose ring further enhances the enigmatic character he portrays.

Set against a dramatic, dust-filled sky, the monochrome image features several shadowy figures in the background. The caption of the Instagram post reads, “Wishing ‘Vardharaja Mannar’ The King @PrithviOfficial, a majestic birthday. In the film, he will play the role of Vardharaja Mannaar, Raja Mannaar’s son.”

Sharing his excitement on social media, Prithviraj Sukumaran penned his appreciation, writing “Thank you Hombale Films, Prashanth Neel, Prabhas, and the entire team of Salaar! Cannot wait for the world to witness this epic! (Red heart emoji).” As such, this heartfelt message reflects the actor’s dedication to his role in the movie.

Prithviraj recently opened up about his journey of recovery from a knee injury that he sustained while shooting an action scene for his upcoming Malayalam film, Vilayath Buddha. In an Instagram post, he talked about the extensive surgery he underwent and conveyed profound gratitude to the medical team responsible for his care. He affirmed his determination to return to work with “100 per cent” energy.
