Exclusive The Beyond Trailer Premiere

The Beyond: Intense sci-fi thriller dives deep into the void

If you’re an Italian horror movie junkie, seeing the headline promising a The Beyond trailer premiere might both confuse and excite you. Well, settle down my friend as this The Beyond has nothing to do with the classic 1981 Lucio Fulci metaphysical gorefest. No, this The Beyond is the new terrifying science-fiction thriller written and helmed by Hasraf ‘HaZ’ Dullul (veteran VFX artist who worked on, among other things, The Dark Knight) which will be released by Gravitas Ventures on January 9th.

The Beyond — based on Dullul’s 2014 short film Project Kronos — was produced by HaZ’s production company Sector 99 and Scott Glassgold’s Ground Control Entertainment and chronicles the groundbreaking mission which sent astronauts – modified with advanced robotics, through a newly discovered wormhole known as the Void.

“Gravitas is thrilled to be partnering with a talented filmmaker as HaZ Dulull whose intense and inventive feature film debut, The Beyond will captivate fans of the sci-fi genre,” Gravitas Ventures Manager of Acquisitions Zach Hamby said in a statement.

Dullul self produced, wrote, directed, edited and handled most of the VFX (with support from VFX houses he had relationships with). The film took almost a year to shoot and complete, punching well above it’s weight with a Dolby Vision HDR grade that delivers sensational images of space.  Paula Crickard (Calloused Hands, Winter), Lee Murphy & HaZ served as Producers. Scott Glassgold and Craig Cohon served as Executive Producers.

The cast includes Nigel Barber (Mission Impossible – Rogue Nation, Spectre) and Jane Perry (World War Z, Borg vs McEnroe).

The Beyond will be available in the US on January 9th 2018 via Amazon, Google Play, iTunes, Vimeo, Vudu, Microsoft XBOX, YouTube, Cox Communications, Dish Communications, Suddenlin and Verizion Fios. Other platforms including an HDR version will be announced over the coming months as well as an International release date.
