Burbank horror hot-spot Dark Delicacies hosting a pair of star-studded weekend signings
If you’re in the LA area – specifically, beautiful Burbank – and are looking for some horror-centric distraction for very little cost, get thee to creepy memorabilia shop Dark Delicacies (3512 W Magnolia Blvd) for a pair of star-studded signing events.
First, on Saturday October 15th at 2pm, join the actors and filmmakers from the scrappy new circus shocker Clowntown for an in-store signing on behalf of the film’s DVD release. Writer Jeff Miller (Axe Giant: The Wrath of Paul Bunyan) and director Tom Nagel (The Retrieval) will be on hand along with the film’s stars, Brian Nagel, Lauren Elise, Andrew Staton, Katie Keene, Jeff Denton and Ryan Pilz.
Clowntown (out now on DVD and VOD) a group of friends get stranded in a seemingly abandoned town and find themselves stalked by a gang of violent psychopaths dressed as clowns. The film is loosely inspired by the clowns who terrorized Bakersfield, California in 2014, though there seems to be a phenomenon as of late of similar incidents across North American. Life imitating art imitating life?
Then, on Sunday October 16th at 2pm, join the Full Moon crew for the release of Delirium #12, the Charles Band published horror film magazine (featuring content from many writers from this very website). Join Robin Riker, the star of 1980’s cult classic Alligator as well as FX artist Robert Short, who built the giant Gator itself. Writer Kalyn Corrigan, Miss Asia USA and star of Rogue Warrior Ashley Park and some of the cast of Charles Band’s latest Puppet Master movie, Axis Termination and the new Full Moon TV series Ravenwolf Towers. You can check out Delirium by visiting the official site.
