Capetown’s South African HorrorFest returns for its 12th bloody year
The putrid pride of Capetown, the 12th annual South African HorrorFest is returning this Fall, running October 26th – November 4th at Capetown’s stories Labia (don’t laugh) Theatre.
HorrorFest has, over the past 12 years, served as the pulse of horror in Capetown, bringing international films to South African horror hounds of every persuasion and giving them the chance to see these acclaimed contemporary horror movies on the big screen.
Today, SA HorrorFest director (and occasional CS/STYD writer) Paul Blom has let us know that the late submission period for feature films and short films has been extended by a week (closing date: September 7, 2016)
For all the dirty details, head to the submission page here (where submissions can also be made via ‘Click For Festivals’).
The literary chapter of the festival is also open for short story submissions.
Stay tuned to this blood-spattered channel for more details on the festival, line-up, live silent film soundtrack performance title and more and get over to the official SA HorrorFest Facebook page and check it out. In the meantime, watch the festival promo trailer below.
