Neo Giallo Francesca Locks Street Date

Argentinian giallo Francesca coming in September from Unearthed Films

From the fevered minds of Argentinian filmmaker siblings Luciano and Nicolás Onetti, the men behind 2013’s avant garde giallo Sonno Profondo, comes Francesca, a festival fave salute to lurid ’70s Italian horror. The film, which had its world premiere at Sitges Film Festival in October 2015, is now coming to home video courtesy of Unearthed Films and MVD Entertainment Group on September 27th. The set includes the film on Blu-ray and DVD, as well as a CD of the film’s soundtrack.

Synopsis: It’s been 15 years since the disappearance of little Francesca, daughter of the renowned poet and playwright, Vittorio Visconti. The community is stalked by a psychopath bent on cleaning the city of “impure and damned souls.” Moretti and Succo are the detectives in charge of finding the perpetrator of these “Dantesque” murders. Francesca has returned, but she is not the same girl they once knew.

You can pre-order Francesca from the  MVD Shop or from Amazon.
