U.K.’s SST Publications Releases Horror Artist Steve McGinnis’ RISE OF THE HARVESTER

Canadian horror artist Steve McGinnis’ first graphic novel now available.

England’s Short, Scary Tales Publications (SST Publications) recently announced the publication of noted horror artist and all around awesome guy Steve McGinnis’ (FANGORIA, DIABOLIQUE, ShockTillYouDrop.com) acclaimed slasher graphic novel RISE OF THE HARVESTER, a rural shocker filled with farm tools, human cabbages and tons of black and white blood spray.

Here’s the Synopsis:

Samuel Troyer was different than the other children in the small village of Brantwood. He was much bigger and stronger. And he was a little odd, which made him an outcast and a loner. But when his father finds willing children for him to play with, his dark side surfaces and new formed friendships end all too quickly. Harvest2

When the townsfolk learn of the fruits of his darkness they seek their revenge. They murder and bury poor Samuel in an unmarked grave and try their best to cast him from their minds forever.

Seasons pass and the townsfolk forget what they did to poor Samuel.

But Samuel’s darkness is much stronger than death. The strange little boy is gone and forgotten, but a new life is born called The Harvester, and he’s hell-bent on revenge.

This dark, new being then teaches the people of Brantwood to never forget that we reap what we sow…

SST Publisher Paul Fry says: “I’m so excited for people to read Steve’s incredible graphic novel. The first book is beautifully drawn and is a fun and creepy slasher-type story. The first book sets the three-book series up brilliantly and I can’t wait to see what happens next!”

The book is now available to order direct from the publisher here.

And from Amazon US, Amazon UK and Barnes & Noble.
