Rob Zombie’s 31: First Look at Psycho-Head

Director Rob Zombie continues to parade looks at his upcoming new film, the Halloween horror spectacle 31. After a brief detour into the “good guys” and captives within the film’s construct, Murder Worldhe’s returned to the batshittery akin to our first look at Malcolm McDowell’s royal nut Father Murder. Have your first glimpse of Lew Temple as nightmare carnival creation Psycho-Head.

“Here’s your first look at LEW TEMPLE as PSYCHO-HEAD from my next film 31!” writes Zombie. “Psycho-Head is a real mean piece of shit best described in his own words… ‘count yourself lucky you got fucked by the best!'” The Devil’s Rejects filmmaker recently described 31 as his most brutal film yet. Even more enticing is the idea that it could be his most bizarre, as Temple and McDowell’s whole steez suggests (Temple’s cut-offs are top notch). Zombie is in the comments on the photo, teasing Psycho-Head’s weapon is likely not a chainsaw. Unfortunately, Temple’s phallic stance would agree, and it seems time we move past sexual assault in horror.

Rob Zombie’s 31, which has already been acquired for U.S. release by Alchemy, stars McDowell, Temple, Sheri Moon Zombie, Lawrence Hilton Jacobs and more in the tale of five captives under attack from killer clowns on Halloween night. Zombie’s The Devil’s Rejects celebrates a 10th anniversary this week.
