AMC is hoping to ramp anticipation with a new teaser that lays their 2015 slate before us. Included: just glimpses of the first footage from spin-off, Fear the Walking Dead.
It certainly isn’t much, simply fleeting glimpses of Kim Dickens and Cliff Curtis, and a title card with someone in grave danger. They’re packed into quick clips from other AMC titles, including of course The Walking Dead. You might be able to parse out if any of those shots have big impact better than I.
Production on Fear the Walking Dead‘s first six-episode season is currently underway up in Vancouver, Canada. David Erickson acts as showrunner, while The Walking Dead‘s David Alpert, Gale Anne Hurd, Robert Kirkman and Greg Nicotero produce. Producer Adam Davidson is also directing the pilot.
The series premieres late this summer and follows a Los Angeles family in the very early stages of the outbreak seen in The Walking Dead.
