Katee Sackhoff to Star in Urban Legend/Witch Film, Don’t Knock Twice

Katee Sackhoff, last on the big screen—and terrific—in Mike Flanagan’s Oculus (above) will star in Don’t Knock Twice, a film about a witchy urban legend from Caradog James, the director of the very cool indie sci-fi film, The Machine

Getting underway this July in the UK, Don’t Knock Twice is “based on a psychologically terrifying urban legend.  To save her estranged daughter, a guilt-ridden mother must uncover the terrifying truth behind the urban legend of a vengeful, demonic witch.”

Mark Huckerby & Nick Ostler penned the script, while the film is being produced by Red & Black Films’ John Giwa-Amu (“The Machine,” “The Call Up”) and Seymour Films’ Claire Moorsom. Content Media’s President of Film, Jamie Carmichael, serves as Executive Producer.

If you’ve not seen The Machine, it comes very much recommended (especially for Arrow fans, as Caity Lotz stars). It’s a very slick, indie sci-fi that for once isn’t afraid of the machines we create. Now pardon me while I take in the news of a film that sounds directly up my alley.
