New Poster, Clip: Warnings From Insidious: Chapter 3

A debut at yesterday’s WonderCon in Anaheim, this new clip from the upcoming Leigh Whannell-directed Insidious: Chapter 3 features a seance of a more subdued kind than we’re used to seeing in this series. Its intent is to be no less ominous however. 

Insidious: Chapter 3 is a prequel and seems to begin in a time when Lin Shaye’s Elise Rainer wasn’t as charged to help those in need of otherworldly contact. Here, she attempts to aid Quinn (Stefanie Scott) in speaking with her dead mother, and ends up struggling with someone else. It’s a moody excerpt, its final note teasing the spooky stuff we’ve seen plenty of in the trailers. 

Insidious: Chapter 3 is out June 5th from Focus Features. Shaye, Scott, Whannell, Dermot Mulroney and Angus Sampson star. You can see a new poster in the gallery, below.
