Sundance 2015 Poster: A Gun-toting Angel Against Hellions

Bruce McDonald’s Hellions is fast becoming one of the most buzzed about midnights at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival. McDonald, a veteran with a host of strange, exciting film under his belt—including Highway 61, Hard Core Logo and Pontypool—looks to return to horror in straightforward, if visually stunning form, as a young woman takes on evil beings one Halloween night. In the glow of infrared, in the “pumpkin capital of the world,” Dora Vogel looks something like this…

The Playlist debuted the poster for Hellions in anticipation of its Sunday, January 25th World Premiere. In the film, starring Chloe Rose and Robert Patrick, “It is Halloween night in the town of Waterford, the so-called Pumpkin Capital of the World. Alone at home, teenager Dora Vogel is about to have a very long night. Free to roam undetected among the small town’s trick-or-treaters, a group of masked demonic beings knock on unsuspecting Dora’s door. Before long, she is cut off from the outside world, under siege in her isolated home for reasons she does not understand. Alone in the dark, Dora will need to defend both her body and her soul from the relentless evil beings known as hellions.”
