Scouts vs. Zombies Moves Again, Poltergeist Gets MPAA Rating

Christopher Landon’s horror-comedy Scouts vs. Zombies is on the movie again. Only recently was it moved from March 2015 to February 2015, but now the film is being pushed back to October 30, 2015.

Scouts vs. Zombies is based on a script by Lona Williams, Etan Cohen, Emi Mochizuki, and Carrie Evans.

It features Tye Sheridan, Logan Miller, and newcomer Joey Morgan as three scouts who, on the eve of their last camp out, discover the true meaning of friendship when they attempt to save their town from a zombie outbreak.

Meanwhile, Poltergeist – that remake we’ve heard very little about – has received an MPAA rating: PG-13 for intense frightening sequences, brief suggestive material, and some language.

Directed by Monster House‘s Gil Kenan, this redo stars Sam Rockwell, Rosemarie DeWitt, Jared Harris and Jane Adams. The film has a release date of July 24, 2015.
