What’s most notable here is that Rose is reuniting with Candyman himself, Tony Todd, for the film. The actor joins an impressive cast that also includes Danny Huston (American Horror Story: Coven), Carrie Anne Moss (Fido, The Matrix) and Xavier Samuel (The Loved Ones).
Deadline says Samuel plays the monster, a creation of Huston and Moss’ Victor and Elizabeth Frankenstein, a husband-wife team living in modern-day Los Angeles.
The film will be told from the monster’s point of view.
Rose penned the script himself and produced by Eclectic Pictures.
Production is reportedly wrapped so perhaps we’ll be seeing some more info or images come out of the film at the American Film Market soon!
