The film comes to us from writer-director Bryan Bockbrader, who co-stars with Austin Abke and Adam Guthrie.
VANish is about a kidnapped woman forced on a road trip full of murder and mayhem which takes place entirely inside her captor’s getaway van.
“I had this idea of doing a road movie from the perspective of inside the vehicle, giving the viewer a chance to ride along as a passenger. As the tension builds, we are trapped in this intimate place with extremely dangerous people and when the shit hits the fan (or van) there’s no escaping the chaos,” says Bockbrader.
Todd and Trejo, as you know, are genre vets. Walsh was seen last year in that short-lived Zombieland television pilot and she’s going to star in Summer Camp, from the producers of REC.
