Max Brooks’ Extinction Parade May Be Heading to Television

In a world where the zombie plague has put the human race on the endangered species list, another predatory undead species realizes that to stand by idly means the end of their food supply.

Vastly outnumbered by the zombie hordes, vampires descend into all-out subdead war, with humanity caught in the crossfire.

It’s a big story.  Perhaps too big to tell in the span of a two-hour film.  So, how about television?  Funny you should ask…

Rich Johnston at Bleeding Cool has been tipped off that rights to The Extinction Parade are “currently in the process of being signed as a TV series for one of the most successful production companies in Hollywood.”

There’s not much more to the story than that, so we’ll have to take a “wait and see” approach until the deal firms up and becomes a reality.
