Daniel Myrick, co-director of The Blair Witch Project, is getting back behind the camera for Under the Bed, no relation to the Steven C. Miller-directed film which came out this year under the same title.
According to Heat Vision, Myrick will direct for Radar Pictures and the plot, although inspired by true events, sounds very much like the Spanish flick Sleep Tight.
The story concerns a “stalker taking up residence underneath the bed of his female target, subtly manipulating her life until ultimately revealing his presence.”
Apparently this actually happened in 2006 with a Washington DC valet.
Myrick last helmed The Objective back in 2008.
