The festival poster for Cheap Thrills has adopted this style but placed its own gleefully morbid spin on it. Instead of a grinning or goofy face, we’ve got star Pat Healy bloody and crying in pain. It certainly pops out at ya. I wonder if this is the first in a series… Check it out inside!
The film, directed by E.L. Katz, debuts at SXSW and goes like this: Recently fired and facing eviction, the married father of a newborn has his life turned upside down when he meets a wealthy couple who offer a path to financial security…but at a price.
