It’s really not that drastic of a push, but FilmDistrict has made a slight release date change for James Wan’s Insidious Chapter 2. The film is currently shooting in Los Angeles and was originally slated to open August 30th.
The sequel will now open on September 20th. The only film it will have to contend with around that period is I, Frankenstein, opening one week earlier.
Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Lin Shaye, Ty Simpkins and Barbara Hershey all return to the Insidious sequel’s cast.
