According to the site, “Dorian Gray provides her with the $20 million she needs to retain control of the paper, and she was romantically involved with Victor Frankenstein years ago.”
Chris Egan and Tom Ellis were cast in the pilot as Gray and Frankenstein, respectively. The proposed series, as you could have guessed, takes various literary horror characters and thrusts them into a modern-tale tale.
