Leatherface is a big, imposing oaf of a man who wants nothing more than to murder you, cut your skin off and wear it as a suit.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre really served to popularize the inbred, murderous, cannibal, redneck sub-genre – inspiring films like The Hills Have Eyes (1977) and contemporary fare like the Wrong Turn franchise.
Leatherface was most notably portrayed by Gunnar Hansen in the original TCM. His chainsaw is easily one of the most badass weapons of any of the killers on our list. Ed Gein is reportedly one of the inspirations for the Leatherface character.
