This pint-sized killer scared the hell out of young kids all over the world in the ’80s and beyond. I didnt know a single kid on my street that would go near a My Buddy doll after seeing Child’s Play.
Chucky is well known for his, sometimes terrible, one-liners. His unadulterated desire to kill is part of what makes him so enjoyable to watch in the first three movies. The franchise lost its footing a bit, when the studio decided to take a more comical tone with the two most recent films. Bride of Chucky and Seed of Chucky were arguably seen as large missteps, but fans love the red headed terror, nonetheless. Audiences will have the chance to see Chucky in action again, next fall with the release of Curse of Chucky.
