Cast Comes Together from Bryan Bertino’s Mockingbird

In January, Shock exclusively learned The Strangers‘ Bryan Bertino was getting back in the director’s seat for Mockingbird, a found footage thriller.  Producer Jason Blum is teaming with Universal to shepherd the project and, today, The Hollywood Reporter scored some casting news.

According to THR, Todd Stashwick (Justified), Audrey Marie Anderson and Alexa Lydon are set to star in the film.

Stashwick and Anderson will play a couple who receive a video camera with a document of strict instructions.  If they don’t follow the rules, they’re told someone will die.  The film will follow their hellish ordeal as they do what they are told.

Lydon’s role is unknown at this time.

Bertino begins rolling cameras very soon.  This is his first film since The Strangers in 2008.
