The crowd-funded Australian horror movie Tunnel is going to get a sequel, says Screen Daily. Screen Australia is backing the project entitled Tunnel: Dead-End. The story will pick up years after the events of the first film and follow a sibling who is investigating the disappearance of her brother.
In the original Tunnel, an investigation into a government cover-up leads to a network of abandoned train tunnels deep beneath the heart of Sydney. As a journalist and her crew hunt for the story it quickly becomes clear the story is hunting them.
Tunnel scribes Enzo Tedeschi and Julian Harvey are back to develop the follow-up.
