Del Toro revealed: “After many months we have finally closed the scoring with Ramin Djawadi – whose scores for Game of Thrones, Prison Break and Iron Man are amongst my favorites in the last few years.”
Indeed, all of those scores are pretty damn good and I can hear a sound, akin to Iron Man, accompanying Del Toro’s film which concerns mankind’s war against giant monsters.
Pacific Rim stars Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba, Charlie Day, Rinko Kikuchi, Max Martini, Rob Kazinsky, Clifton Collins Jr. and Diego Klattenhoff.
The film opens in theaters July 12, 2013.
