Kevin Bacon was recently cast as the series’ FBI agent, a rare turn on the small screen for the actor.
Now, Deadline reports James Purefoy (Rome, Resident Evil) is the latest actor to sign on board.
The site says Purefoy will play the show’s main serial killer.
Marcos Siega is directing the pilot for Fox; his credits include The Vampire Diaries, Dexter and True Blood. Should the show go beyond the pilot, 15 episodes will be ordered up.
