FX vet Paul Hyett is sitting in the director’s chair for a horror film called The Seasoning House. Hyett’s credits include The Descent, Attack the Block, The Children and many other genre pics.
He co-penned The Seasoning House Conal Palmer, who is also no stranger to the FX world.
The Seasoning House refers to the location where young girls are prostituted to the military. An orphaned deaf mute is enslaved to care for them. She moves between the walls and crawlspaces, planning her escape. Planning her ingenious and brutal revenge.
Sterling Pictures is producing the film which stars Sean Pertwee, Nathalia Cox, Anna Walton, Adrian Bouchet, Katie Allen and Rosie Day.
According to Screen Daily, shooting is now underway.
