Murphy has previously stated the show will feature a new haunting each season, meaning the story of the Harmons is indeed done. But some interesting information has spilled out of the TCA (Television Critics Association) Press Tour this morning.
Rick Porter at Zap2It reports from today’s FX panel discussion:
“Two or possibly three” American Horror Story actors will continue next season (as new characters). Casting process on now.
Jessica Lange will likely return as Constance, but who – from season one – could possibly be back in a new role? Are they thinking supporting cast members, perhaps? Those beyond the Harmon family? Or will Murphy be asking Dylan McDermott, Connie Britton and Taissa Farmiga to return, but as new characters?
This is a very interesting experiment they’re playing with here. More on this as it develops!
