David Armstrong to Adapt Crawl to Me

Crawl to Me, the IDW-published comic book by writer/musician Alan Robert, is moving foward as a feature film.  Robert previously penned the graphic novel Wire Hangers, which garnered him recognition on the horror comic book scene.

Producers Robert, Jeff Mazzola and Chris White are shepherding the project and have attached David A. Armstrong to direct.  Armstrong provided the visual blueprint for the Saw franchise as he was the cinematographer.

A writer is currently being sought to adapt Crawl to Me.

Here is a description of the comic series, provided by IDW:

The story follows husband and wife, Ryan and Jessica. As they move into their first home together, strange things begin to occur. Half-eaten animals and other remains are found inside the basement’s crawl space. Their family dog disappears within the house.  Distant voices are heard from beneath the floorboards. The couple begins to think that an evil entity is living inside their walls. Nothing can prepare them for what they’ll discover, but Ryan and Jessica soon realize that they must set aside all they believe to be true, in order to face their inevitable reality.

The series is available now.
