Farscape Creator Finds Home for Cult

WB is revisiting a series it once developed twice for the CW a few years back.  The network has ordered a pilot episode of Cult by Rockne O’Bannon, the creator of Farscape.  Head inside to learn what it’s about.

According to Variety, the proposed series goes like this:

After a rash of disappearances and a likely murder, an inquisitive, young female production assistant on a wildly popular television show called “Cult” joins a journalist blogger in investigating the rabid fans of the series who might be re-creating crimes seen on the program, in real life.

Cult was in development once at CW back in ’06, then again in ’09.  If the CW digs the pilot, the network will order up a series – likely 13 episodes.
