A hazy look at Ridley Scott’s film
As we’ve been telling you here at Shock, a trailer for Prometheus is in the works at Fox and it’s going to drop pretty soon. Ah, but those trailer pirates out there are impatient and someone has uploaded a copy of the preview to YouTube. AvP Galaxy posted it and I’d prefer to not deal with Fox’s legal time this weekend, so I’m going to refrain from posting it here.
From what I can see…WOW. The trailer is trying to capture some of the eeriness of the original Alien preview – from the sound design to the way the title slowly appears on the screen – and I cannot wait to see this thing properly. (Can you spot the Space Jockey rising up out of a floor around 38 seconds in?!)
If you can’t wait. If you HAVE to see it now…
The film stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Logan Marshall-Green, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Sean Harris, Kate Dickie and Guy Pearce and opens June 8, 2012.
